Ben Daverman is executive vice president and chief strategy and business development officer. In this role, Daverman is responsible for developing strategic initiatives and partnerships, with a focus on business opportunities and investments that will create value for our stakeholders. Daverman also oversees Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) strategies and execution, including portfolio management and divestitures.
Daverman has 25 years of investing and transaction experience, including the past 16 years at Chicago-based private equity firm GTCR, where he was a partner and co-led the healthcare group. Prior to GTCR, he was with Alta Partners, a healthcare venture capital firm. Daverman also spent several years in investment banking with JPMorgan and predecessor firms.
Daverman holds an undergraduate degree from Colgate University and two master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, including an MBA from the Wharton School and a degree in biotechnology from the School of Applied Sciences & Engineering.
